TV host Luis Manzano clarified what he said in an interview with pep.ph about the recent engagement of his ex-girlfriend Angel Locsin.
His comment “Wala naman akong kinalaman sa kuwentong ‘yan” did not sit well with the actress’ fans.
Manzano in a tweet clarified that what he meant was not to include them in the couple’s love story.
“Ang sabi ko “wag na” (hindi niya) kami idamay sa kwento o love story nila 🙂 ang kwento nila ay sa kanila, ang amin ay amin 😉 kaya wag na kami idamay ng ibang fans or press sa love story ng ibang tao ;),” Manzano said in a tweet.
Manzano also responded to a netizen who shared the video and told him to move on already.
“Or [I] may have said “wag niyo na” ng mabilis kaya ganun tunog but ayan malinaw na what [I] said and meant ha,” Manzano said in another tweet.
But some netizens remained unconvinced with Manzano’s explanation accusing him of just making excuses.
Manzano and Locsin were in a relationship in 2007. They broke up after two years and went back to each other in 2014. He is currently in a relationshop with Jesse Mendiola.
Last month, Locsin has announced her engagement with producer Neil Arce.
