A beauty queen-hopeful from Thailand was bashed by netizens after calling Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, fat.
Miss Grand Nakhon Phanom 2019 Coco Arayha Suparurk, a candidate for Miss Grand International Thailand 2019, seemed to body shame Catriona in an Instagram story as reported by Pep.ph.
Suparurk aspires to win the Miss Grand International Thailand 2019 and represent her country at the Miss Grand International 2019.
The members of the online community may remember her beauty but surely most of them will remember her posting an Instagram story against Catriona.
As per report from Pep.ph, Coco posted last July 4, a photo comparing the body of Miss Grand International 2018 Clara Sosa of Paraguay and Catriona.
Coco inserted a caption calling Clara as “FIT” while Catriona “Fat”.
According to some netizen, the photo of Catriona was edited and even posted an original photo of the Miss Universe.
Many were dismayed about the post, even the Facebook page Pageantry Rumors voiced out how sad would it be for an aspiring International beauty queen to compare two successful and the act isn’t a good thing to emulate.
A post on the page read: “We don’t know the reason why Miss Coco Arayha (Miss Grand Thailand 2019 candidate) posted this but we are sure this kind of act shouldn’t be tolerated. To Ms. Coco Arayha, We are still praying for your pageantry journey and Godbless.”
