Tony award-winning performer and international superstar Lea Salonga will be returning as one of the judges of the hit contest ‘The Voice Kids’.
Salonga just recently recovered from a skiing accident and went abroad for several shows.
“I guess it’s official! The first announcement was Sarah Geronimo’s, and hers is like the toughest one to get. My schedule is tough, but hers is even tougher.” Salonga said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.
Salonga also said that she was proud with Morissette Amon and Darren Espanto, both former The Voice contestants for singing her song ‘A Whole Nee World’.
Geronimo earlier announced that she will also come back as a judge of the show.
Salonga, Geronimo, and rock singer Bamboo were the original judges of the show. Megastar Sharon Cuneta joined the panel of judges in previous seasons.
No details yet on when ‘The Voice Kids’ will air ‘Idol Philippines’ is currently the network’s singing competition.
