Multi-awarded actress Nadine Lustre took to Instagram to express her gratitude for winning her third Best Actress award this year at the Gawad Urian awards.
Lustre won for her performance as ‘Joanne’ in the Antoinette Jadaone film ‘Never Not Love You’.
“My journey has never been easy. For years, I felt like I was mindlessly walking on a dark misty road, with a heart full of doubt and hopelessness,” Lustre said.
Lustre said that despite having big dreams, she is afraid of failure. She even revealed that she almost abandoned her dreams because of fear.
“One cannot identify happiness without knowing sadness,” Lustre said.
Realizing life’s goodness, Lustre said that she now prefers to conquer the bad and celebrate life.
“The universe really does work in mysterious ways. I’ve been one to question my purpose and now it’s never been more cleare,” Lustre ended her statement.
She thanked Gawad Urian for her new award. Lustre also won Best Actress in the 67th Famas Awards and the Young Critics Circle for the same film.
