Frederick Peralta clothes on sale for fund raising

Fashion designer Frederick Peralta suffered stroke last year, but it did not stop him from designing dresses and suits as he undergoes treatment at a nursing home.

To help Peralta raise funds for his recovery from stroke, more than 50 dresses and suits he designed are on sale at Marriott Manila Hotel, GMA News reported.

Michelle Garcia, director of marketing and communications at Manila Marriott Hotel, took the fund raising to social media for Peralta. She posted videos and photos of Peralta sketching gowns and suits while at the nursing home.

“Recently, he moved in to Home Health Care, a health care service provider with a team of physicians, registered nurses, physical therapists, nutritionists/dieticians, medical technologists and trained caregivers. The company specializes in delivering wellness programs and services to seniors and persons with disability in the comfort of their homes,” Michelle wrote on her Facebook post.

She urged those willing to help Peralta to visit Shop & Help trunk sale at The Hub, Marriott Hotel from June 16 to 23, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Evening gowns are being sold at P8,000, suits at P2,500, and shoes at P250. Donations are also welcome.
