Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere paraded a Michael Cinco creation during the red carpet of the prestigious 72nd Cannes Film Festival in her home country, France.
The French beauty queen stole the show and wowed the Cannes crowd with her chosen gown created by the UAE-based Filipino couturier.
She wore a blush pink ball gown covered with feathers and Swarovski crystals which was from Cinco’s Spring-Summer 2019/2020 collection.
Mittenaere also shared more photos of her gown on her own Instagram account.
She also posted a video of her getting ready before the event.
This isn’t the first time Mittenaere wore a gown created by Cinco.
She first wore one of his creations, which was a red ombre gown, when she passed on her Miss Universe crown to her successor in 2017.
Mittenaere became a well-loved beauty queen among Filipinos after she was crowned as Miss Universe 2016 in the Philippines.
Earlier this year, she also took a trip to the UAE and visited several locations in the country, such as Burj Al Arab, Dubai Safari, and Rixos Premium Dubai JBR in Dubai; as well as the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Rixos Saadiyat Island, and Zaya Nurai Island in Abu Dhabi.
Aside from Mittenaere, more celebrities wore Cinco’s gown at the said prestigious event.
They are Swedish-Thai actress Praya Lundberg, Danish-Thai model/actress Sririta “Rita” Jensen, and Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut.
