Angel Locsin slams Ferdinand Marcos supporter on Twitter

Actress Angel Locsin had a fiery and lengthy exchange with a supposed supporter of Philippine dictator Ferdinand Marcos on Twitter.

Locsin defended a close relative, senatorial aspirant Neri Colmenares, who was tagged as a supporter of the New People’s Army, which is the armed wing of the Communist Party of the Philippines.

Twitter user @MarcosGlobalOFC, who used a photo of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos as his profile picture, has already been deleted as of posting time.

But Locsin’s replies in the exchange were praised by her followers.

In one reply to @MarcosGlobalOFC ‘s question, “NPA supporter ka rin ba?”, Locsin said she is not an NPA supporter.

She then took note that the account she was replying to used a photo of Marcos, who she pointed out shows support for someone who tortured and killed Filipinos when the country was under martial rule.

“Kaya nagkaroon ng NPA dahil diyan sa profile picture mo. Siya ang may kagagawan ng lahat ng gulo,” Locsin said.

“At kasama ka sa mga dapat makonsensya dahil pinagkakakitaan mo ‘yang pagto-troll mo para sa mali. Binenta ang prinsipyo habang ang daming nagdudusa,” she added.
