Mariel Padilla announces pregnancy with second child with Robin Padilla

Television host Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla announced that she is pregnant with her second child with action star Robin Padilla.

Mariel made the announcement during a special Mother’s Day opening number on the ABS-CBN noontime show “It’s Showtime”.

“Today, I am so happy to share with all of you isang espesyal na balita na nalaman namin ng asawa ko a few months ago. I am three months pregnant with Baby No. 2,” she shared.

Maraming-maraming salamat po,” she added.

Mariel gave birth to her first child with Robin on November 14, 2016.

Prior to that, she suffered two miscarriages which both happened in 2015.

The television host also took the time to thank the viewers of the said noontime show.

“A few years ago, pag Mother’s Day, para sa akin po, para lang siya isang ordinaryong araw. But all of that changed when I became a mom myself,” she began.

“From heartbreaking losses until finally I’ve had my baby girl, my Isabella.

“Sa career ko po, ang dami ko na pong nasubukan, pero none is as rewarding or even comes close to the job of being a mother.

Ano ba schedule namin today?’ At lahat ng yun ginagawa natin nang buong puso,” she said.

Kaya habambuhay po ako nagpapasalamt for that.

“Thank you for letting me enjoy motherhood. Maraming-maraming salamat po.”
