At least thirty minutes after the latest trailer of the upcoming movie ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ was released, it already became a top trending topic on Twitter Philippines.
The two and half minute clip shows lead star Tom Holland giving a warning that the trailer contains major spoilers from the latest Avengers: Endgame film.
“The Spider-Man Far From Home trailer is about to play but if you haven’t seen Avengers: Endgame yet stop watching because there are some serious spoilers about to come up but if you have seen Avengers: Endgame enjoy the trailer,” Holland said.
The Russos have declared that the ban on spoilers arbitrarily ends today.
The new Spider-Man movie will be the first one that will happen post Avenger: Endgame. The newest trailer showed how Peter Parker (Holland) remembering Iron Man (Tony Stark) and grieving over his death.
Happy Hogan made reassuring words to Parker but later on the young hero has decided to go on a trip to Europe.
The trip changes its course when Parker runs into creatures called Elementals and teams up with another character Mysterio played by Jake Gyllenhaal.
Nick Fury was also present on the trailer. The film also opens the concept of a multiverse in which a number of Marvel Cinematic Universe fans have been talking about since the ‘Endgame’.
Other movie cast are Zendaya as MJ, Michael Keaton as Adrian Toomes, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May and Jon Favreau as Harold “Happy” Hogan. Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) will also appear in the film.
Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters on July 5.
