Controversial actor Baron Geisler has revealed that he has moved on from his wild “bad boy” days and is now ready to settle down with his non-showbiz partner, psychologist Jamie Marie Evangelista.
Geisler said n an exclusive interview with PUSH, that he is now ready to take things more seriously as he is now about to marry his girlfriend.
The actor said that they have been engaged for three months now and that they are now finalizing the date of their wedding.
When asked about his fiancee, Geisler revealed that she is a psychologist who works in rehabilitation centers, and teaches college students.
Geisler himself struggled with alcoholism. Over the recent years, he got involved in several controversies including instances of physical assaults and sexual harassment which landed him in jail a couple of times.
However, Geisler said that Evangelista stayed with him amid all the issues.
“She’s very patient sa akin,” he said of Evangelista. “Alam niya kung paano ako timplahin. Super happy ako kasi maalaga siya.”
“When I had nothing, wala pa ‘yung barber shop ko, nu’ng walang-wala ako, she supported me. Kasi ang buong pag-aakala ko wala na akong babalikan sa showbiz, kaya nagtayo na lang ako ng business,” he added referring to his business called Gents Barber in Cebu.
“Pagod na ako sa laro, sa pag-party. Gusto ko na ring magkaroon ng sariling pamilya,” Geisler said.
As of now, Geisler said that he is a changed man who has a new-found faith after spending some time in rehab.
He has also returned to television and appeared as a guest star in the long-time action-drama series “Ang Probinsyano.”
