Sexy comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto is known for her distinctive voice and comedic style, and she is more than ready to apply these if she will be given the chance to portray Darna on the big screen.
During her interview on “Tonight with Boy Abunda”, Quinto made a public appeal to Star Cinema to consider her as Liza Soberano’s replacement for the role of Darna.
Right then and there, Quinto was asked by Abunda to show the movie production company that she is worthy of the role.
“Ding, ang bato, -to, -to!” she said making a reference to her iconic “go, go, go” punchline.
The comedienne then jumped into, did cartwheels and jumped around the studio as she recreates her own version of the character’s transformation from Narda to Darna.
However, Quinto’s overflowing energy and enthusiasm resulted to her ripping her pants.
“Ay, ‘yung pants! Napunit! Huwag niyo pakita!” she said.
She then asked someone to hand her something to cover her legs.
Netizens also found the video entertaining with many of them sharing it on different social media platforms.
Quinto is no stranger to portraying a superheroine. Back in 2002, she portrayed the Darna-inspired character “Super-B” in an action-comedy film of the same name.
