Rumor has it that Kapuso star Maine Mendoza and her rumored boyfriend Arjo Atayde are now living under one roof.
The rumors came after the two celebrities admitted they are now “exclusively dating” and have been spotted by fans going to several dates and international trips.
However, Rams David, president of Trip A Management and Mendoza’s talent manager, quickly dismissed the rumors when he had an exclusive interview with PEP.ph.
David said Mendoza is not living with Atayde and that she has her own house.
“Ang daming kuwestiyon na kesyo ganito, kesyo ganyan daw. May nababalitang kesyo nagli-live in daw.
“That’s not true. She has her own house—meron siyang condo, meron silang bahay sa Bulacan. Hindi totoo. Hindi totoo ang mga bali-balita about it.
“Parang, dalagang Filipina pa rin siya. Yung traditional, hindi yung kung kani-kanino lang, alam niyo yun?” he said.
Regarding Mendoza and Atayde’s international travels, David said that they allow their artists to take a break every once in a while since they work hard most of the time.
“Well, if the parents approved at alam naman namin kung sino ang kasama, wala naman kaming problema ro’n.
“Lalo na kung mga friends naman ang kasama, di ba? Mahirap i-curtail ang freedom niya pagdating sa mga ganyan.
“Siyempre, ang mga artista, they work round-the-clock, ilang araw sa isang Linggo. So, bigyan naman sila ng chance to enjoy life,” he said.
David added that what’s important is that Mendoza is happy in her personal life at the moment.
“Happy naman si Maine at siyempre, ayokong makialam sa love life, personal na niya ‘yan,” he said.
He also said that Mendoza’s talent management is open to her relationship with Atayde. David clarified that they know what’s going on between them and that they trust Mendoza.
“OK naman, transparent naman lahat, e. We know naman what’s going on, what’s happening. We trust her.
“We trust her na alam niya kung ano ang tama, ano ang priorities niya. At kapag time naman ng relaxation or vacation or may time siya, that’s her life, sa kanya na yun.
“At the same time, we trust her nga. Very respectful naman,” he said
David also said that Mendoza’s family aprroves of her relationship with Atayde.
“The family also respects her decision. Kung sino man ang gusto niyang makasama, maging boyfriend, or kung saan siya liligaya. I’m sure, the family is very respectful.
“And I think, they approved naman kung ano ang estado niya. Sinabi naman, di ba? Umakyat ng ligaw. So ibig sabihin, kilala na nila yung tao, yung bata, o si Arjo,” he said.
