WATCH: Black Pink unveils new track “Kill This Love”

Korean all-female group Black Pink returns with a kill — literally, THE kill.

It’s new title track “Kill This Love” was launched midnight today worldwide with it stomping, brassy electro-pop style music.

#KILLTHISLOVEwithBLACKPINK is also the number one trending topic on Twitter Philippines this morning.

MTV of “Kill This Love” has so far hit 18 million views on its official youtube channel as of writing.

It looks Black Pink will try to break its own record with “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du” in 2018 which garnered 36.2 million views – making it the most-viewed Korean Music videos in 24 hours.

The MTV shows the “plotting the demise of romance while vacillating between ultra-futuristic and classically-influenced imagery, with crowns, gowns, stained glass, sophisticated streetwear, and Tomb Raider-esque looks making appearances,” Billboard reported.

“Thematically, it features a variety of weapons, ranging from a car driven with intent to kill to a giant hunting trap the group dance’s within,” it added.

The EP will also include “Don’t Know What to Do” and a remix of “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du”.

Billboard said Black Pink is the highest-charting female K-pop act with and “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du” and “Square Up”.
