Will John Lloyd Cruz finally return to showbiz?

Fans are excited to know if actor John Lloyd Cruz will finally make a showbiz comeback after a year and a half of hiatus.

It all started when a shawarma brand in the Philippines uploaded a photo on their Instagrma account with the caption, “Hindi lahat ng umaalis, hindi na babalik… Minsan kailangan lang ng pahinga. BABALIK NA! Ano at sino? Malapit na malapit na.”

The photo shows a silhouette of a man facing sideways while wearing a cap. Netizens flooded the comments section of the post saying that the man in the photo looks like Cruz and the caption seems like it’s implying his return to the industry.

Cruz’s fellow actor Piolo Pascual added fuel to the fire by posting the same photo and captioned it with, “If that’s you, I’m happy because your my brother. Welcome to the family!”

Pascual is an endorser of the said shawarma brand and based on the caption, it seems like he will be working with Cruz to promote its product.

However, Cruz has not yet made any confirmations about the speculations.

To recall, Cruz took an indefinite leave from show business back in October 2017 after it has been reported that his partner Ellen Adarna was pregnant.

In June 2018, Adarna reportedly gave birth to their son, Elias Modesto, and four months after, Cruz admitted that he is now a father.

In several instances, Cruz was spotted living a simple life away from the public eye. He was seen buying food at a local market, riding a jeepney, eating street food, and so much more.

On the other hand, it is not mentioned if Adarna will be returning to her showbiz career as well.
