Kapamilya comedian Vice Ganda received a very special birthday greeting from the Philippines’ top two officials.
Vice Ganda celebrated his birthday on Saturday’s episode of ABS-CBN’s noontime show “It’s Showtime.”
He performed a medley of Madonna song with the country’s biggest singers, including Zsa Zsa Padilla, Kuh Ledesma, Jaya, Pops Fernandez, James Reid, Sarah Geronimo, and Regine Velasquez-Alcasid.
But what surprised him were the video greetings from no less than Vice President Leni Robredo and President Rodrigo Duterte.
“From one vice to another, happy birthday Vice,” Robredo said.
“Sana bigyan ka pa ng lakas. Dasal ko na mas maging maayos ang iyong kalusugan para mapasaya mo pa ang mas marami nating mga kababayan sa mas mahabang panahon,” Robredo said.
For his part, Duterte thanked Vice Ganda, who he called as “ang Vice na walang kasing Ganda”, for making the Filipinos happy on a regular basis.
He also wished the comedian further success and a longer life.
