Former beauty queen and model Janine Tugonon was not able to make an appearance when the previous Miss Universe Philippines titleholders reunited during Catriona Gray’s homecoming concert.

However, she recently took some time to catch up with Shamcey Supsup in New York City.

Over the weekend, Tugonon took to Twitter to share a photo of her and Supsup in what appears to be a restaurant.

“So happy to see this girl again,” Tugonon captioned the photo.

Supsup also posted the same photo on her Instagram account with the caption, “Thanks for taking the time to meet us, Janine. Na-miss ka namin!”

Netizens also gushed over the photo of their reunion.

Both Supsup and Tugonon successfully represented the Philippines in the Miss Universe pageant.

Supsup competed in 2011 in Sao Paulo, Brazil and finished third runner-up. She then passed on the Miss Universe Philippines title to Tugonon who bagged first runner-up in the Miss Universe 2012 pageant.

After their stints in the beauty pageant scene, Supsup now owns several businesses with her husband, while Tugonon is now working as a model based in New York.
