8-year-old Filipina singer stuns judges on “Ireland’s Got Talent”

An 8-year-old singer from Cork is the latest talent with Filipino roots to get a standing ovation from the judges of “Ireland’s Got Talent”.

During the pre-performance interview, Liv Amerie Gregorio from County Cork said that she likes being a big sister and that she would usually sing for her younger brother.

She then took the stage and wowed the judges with her rendition of the song “Everything’s Coming Up Roses” from the Broadway musical “Gypsy.”

After her performance, the judges, composed of Louise Walsh, Michelle Visage, Jason Byrne, and Denise van Outen, all stood up and commended the young singer for her outstanding audition.

When asked by the judges, she said that it was her father who taught her how to sing.

Gregorio was able to earn four “yes” from the judges which will make her move on to the next round of the competition.

The winner of “Ireland’s Got Talent” will win a €50,000 (P3 million) cash prize, and will have their very own TV Show.
