Kapuso actor Renz Valerio took to Instagram to share the wonderful news that he will be graduating magna cum laude after finishing his bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management at the Our Lady of Fatima University in Antipolo City.

The 20-year-old actor uploaded his graduation photos on Instagram with a lengthy caption that tells his journey as a student while working in the entertainment industry.

He included in the caption the constant reminder from his parents which encouraged him to finish his studies.

“Tapusin mo pag-aaral mo, yan lang ang hindi mananakaw sa yo. Kapag hindi ka na artista, yan ang panghahawakan mo para hindi ka maliitin ng kahit na sino,” he wrote referring to his parents’ reminder.

He went on to say that balancing khis studies with his work as an actor was difficult but he did not let that stop him.

Valerio also thanked the people who helped him throughout his college journey.

Aside from graduating magna cum laude, he will also receive other awards including Best in Marketing Research and Academic Excellence Award.

Valerio appeared on television in the early 2000s as a child actor. He is currently a part of the afternoon series “Inagaw Na Bituin”.
