A Filipino was among the eight acts during the first semi finals of “Asia’s Got Talent” aired on Thursday and he definitely stood out from the rest.
Philip Galit a.k.a Shadow Ace was able to get the judges approval with his shadow act, which also earned the golden buzzer from the show’s hosts Alan Wong and Justin Bratton during the auditions.
The judges liked Galit’s semifinals performance so much that they even said that the Filipino act can possibly be included in the finals.
“You definitely leveled up from your audition,” judge Jay Park told Galit.
Another Filipino act in the first semifinals was 12-year-old guitarist Rock Opong.
However, unlike Galit, there were aspects of his performance that did not sit well with the judges.
Judge David Foster said that he could have chosen a better song while Park said that he had a “shaky start.”
