Filipino comedy stars gather at Chokoleit’s wake

Some of the Philippines’ biggest comedy artists gathered to pay their last respects to the late comedian Chokoleit.

Comedians Vice Ganda, Pooh, Pokwang, and K Brosas all came together to visit the first day of Chokoleit’s wake Monday night.

Chokoleit’s sudden death sent shockwaves in the local show business world after his performance at Kawayan Festival in Abra on Saturday, March 9.

He succumbed to pulmonary edema and heart attack, according to his attending physician Dr. Rosauro Seares.

The comedian was rushed to the Abra Provincial Hospital but was pronounced dead moments after.
