Singer-comedienne K Brosas was one of the many celebrities who remembered and paid tribute to the late comedian Chokoleit on social media.

Brosas posted a black photo on her Instagram account with the caption: “My heart is broken. Walang biro. Bakit? Bakit? Lord, give me strength para maintindihan po at malagpasan ‘to. Please lang po. Mahal na mahal kita, Chokie.”

However, Brosas was not pleased when one netizen left a comment on her post which she found disrespectful. The now-deleted comment of the netizen was about a promo on cell phone credits.

The netizen wrote: “Hi, you can get P50 worth of freebies for you to buy load, pay bills and more on the GCash app! Just register here…”

As a response, Brosas wrote, “G*** ka ba????!!! Sa post kong to?!! G***!!!”

The netizen has since removed the comment and Brosas no longer made any further statements.

Chokoleit passed away after his performance which lasted for nearly half an hour during an event in Abra on the evening of March 9.

The comedian had difficulty in breathing after his performance and was rushed to the hospital but later succumbed to pulmonary edema and heart attack, according to his attending physician Dr. Rosauro Seares.
