Is Ali Khatibi not giving financial support to his daughter with Cristine Reyes?

Actress Cristine Reyes revealed that she is the sole provider for the needs of her daughter Amarah which led many to speculate that her husband Ali Khatibi is not helping her financially ever since they have reportedly separated.

In an interview with PEP.ph, Reyes said that she is working extra hard right now in order to provide for the needs of her daughter.

She also revealed that she is fulfilling her responsibilities as a parent on her own and no one is helping her when it comes to money.

“Ever since naman po, ako lang talaga nagwu-work for myself.

“I can really say that I’m self-made.

“Ever since I started working for 15 years, 2003, I also helped my family.

“Nobody really helps me financially,” Reyes was quoted as saying.

Because of this, Reyes said that she has to sacrifice some time with Amarah, but she made her understand that she needs to work for the both of them.

“Kung puwede lang araw-araw kasama ko siya. Wala tayong magagawa, working mom tayo, e. Kailangan talaga magtrabaho, e,” she said.

“Pero in-explain ko naman sa kanya, ‘Mom has to work, baby, so that Mommy can pay for our hotel.’

“Kasi palagi siyang, ‘Is there a hotel?’ Hala! Gusto niyang naka-hotel palagi!” she added.

It can be recalled that, last year, several entertainment websites speculated that Reyes and Khatibi might be going through marital problems as the latter was rarely seen on the actress’ social media posts.

Before that, Reyes also shared a cryptic post on Instagram. In the now-deleted post, the actress prayed for her marriage with Khatibi.

The actress remains mum whenever she would get asked about the status of their marriage.

Reyes and Khatibi were last seen together during the Christmas party of their daughter last year.

The couple have not yet made any confirmations if the rumors are true. Nevertheless, netizens are still hoping that the couple would be able to rebuild their relationship.
