After years of conflicts and misunderstandings, sisters Gretchen and Claudine Barretto have decided to let bygones be bygones and catch up with each other.
As seen on their respective Instagram accounts, the two sat down for dinner on Saturday for a reunion after being estranged for years.
Their relationship turned sour sometime around in 2013 when Gretchen claimed that Claudine is suffering from a mental disorder, as well as drug addiction.
Their mother Estrella “Inday” Barretto took Claudine’s side and called Gretchen a liar and even planned to file a complaint against her.
Their feud became worse after Gretchen chose to side with Claudine’s ex-husband Raymart Santiago. There was also one instance when Gretchen bailed out Claudine’s former personal assistant who the latter accused of theft.
Most recently, Gretchen also accused Claudine of teaming up with Kris Aquino to defame her reputation. This comes after Gretchen expressed her support to Nicko Falcis amid his legal battle with Kris.
However, it seems like all those controversies are behind them as they had dinner with each other at Solaire Resort and Casino in Paranaque City with Claudine’s daughter.
At one point of the video, Claudine was even heard saying, “I’m very, very happy tonight because of my ate.”
Even though the videos suggest that they have set aside their differences, neither of them has confirmed if they have fully reconciled.
Nevertheless, netizens are happy to see the two sisters bonding once again.
