Rumor has it that Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and his long-time boyfriend Clint Bondad have called it quits.
According to a PEP Alert article published on PEP.ph, the rumors started when Bondad appeared as a guest on GMA-7 noontime show, “Eat Bulaga”.
One of the reporters in the article said that he received text messages from fans asking him about the real score between Gray and Bondad.
Bondad appeared on “Eat Bulaga” and participated on the segment “BOOM”, together with Marco Alcaraz, Miss International 2005 Lara Quigaman’s husband, and Marc Nash, Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago’s boyfriend. In the said segment, he introduced himself as Gray’s boyfriend.
After the episode, however, many fans reacted claiming that Bondad and Gray have already ended their relationship.
Some fans claimed that the couple broke up even before the Miss Universe pageant that is why Bondad did not sit next to Gray’s parents during the event.
The article also noted that Clint did not seem to know that Gray is already in the Philippines when he was asked about her by host Vic Sotto.
It is unclear if the rumors are true since Bondad congratulated Gray after she won Miss Universe.
Gray also said in one of her interviews during her media tour earlier this year that she has a boyfriend.
The Filipino-German model, 33, has swept Miss Universe 2018 off her feet when they met in an elevator in Baguio City more than six years ago.
Neither Gray nor Bondad has addressed the issue yet.
