WATCH: Pierce Brosnan visits Louvre Abu Dhabi

Pierce Brosnan, an international actor widely known for his portrayal of James Bond, was recently seen visiting the Louvre Abu Dhabi yesterday, February 16.

In the short video, the Irish actor was checking out a painting at one of the halls within the world-renowned gallery, with a few expats taking selfies from a distance to capture the moment.

Brosnan is in the UAE for his new movie “The Misfits” that follows Richard Pace (played by Brosnan) a master criminal who got caught up with several implications after a huge gold heist.

The film will be directed by Renny Harlin and produced by Kia Jam and will begin shooting some scenes at Jumeirah at Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi this February 18 as announced on The European Film Market.

“After visiting and scouting Abu Dhabi, we were blown away,” Arabian Business quoted Jam as saying.

“We all agreed in order to do the film justice, production would have to take place primarily on location in Abu Dhabi rather than LA, and we set up our base at the spectacular Jumeirah at Etihad Towers,” he added.

After filming in Abu Dhabi, the rest of the film’s scenes will be taken in Los Angeles, California.

As of press time, there’s no information yet as to when the film would be released.
