Former child actor Nash Aguas might only be 20 years old, but he is already on his way to becoming a successful restaurateur.
Aguas recently opened a new chicken inasal restaurant which he called Grillest.
In an interview with ABS-CBN Lifestyle, the young actor said that they came up with the idea of establishing a chicken inasal restaurant out of his own love for the said Filipino dish.
He also said that he and his partners noticed that a lot of Filipino foodies really love eating chicken with rice.
“Iyong Pinoy talaga, gusto nila ng chicken at rice. Eh mahilig din kami sa inasal. So, sabi namin, try namin ‘to,” ABS-CBN Lifestyle quoted Aguas as saying.
After coming up with their own twist to the well-known Filipino dish, he opened up the restaurant which is located in Pasig City.

Aguas said that he was completely clueless with running a business when he started but he just trusted his guts.
“Huwag ma-intimidate, huwag matakot agad,” he advised those who would like to open up their own businesses. “Lahat naman ng bagay, natututunan. And maraming failures, maraming mistakes, pero okay lang ‘yun. Ang mahalaga, natuto ka. Wala naman nag-bi-business at first, maganda agad. Kahit kami, may times na may setbacks. Pero mahalaga kung pano mo ma-o-overcome iyon.”
Aside from his chicken inasal restaurant, Aguas also owns Muramen, which is a chain of restaurants that offer authentic Japanese cuisines for an affordable price. Muramen has branches in Makati, Pasig, Las Piñas, Carmona, Malolos, and Legazpi.
