WATCH: TNT Boys earn standing ovation from “The World’s Best” judges

The TNT Boys, composed of Mackie Empuerto, Francis Concepcion, and Kiefer Sanchez, impressed artists from all over the world as they try their luck at a global talent competition in the United States.

The trio showcased their world-class singing talent on “The World’s Best” wherein they represented the Philippines.

The TNT Boys were featured on the show’s pilot episode which aired after the Super Bowl on CBS on Sunday (US time).

They sang Beyonce’s hit song “Listen” and got a standing ovation from the show’s judges.

Even host James Corden was so impressed with their performance that he jokingly asked that boys if they would like to add him as a member to their group.

American judges Faith Hill, Drew Barrymore, and RuPaul were also blown away.

“First of all, you have some serious attitude. You’re so precious and so sweet but when you were singing, you were in that song, you were like, bam!” Hill said.

“I have a soft spot for kids. I was a kid performer. I have kids now. This is a whole other thing. You possess a gift. You’re just that good!” Barrymore said.

For his part, RuPaul used his famous line from his show “RuPaul’s Drag Race”, and told the TNT Boys, “Shantay, you stay” which is a reassurance that they are not going home.

Pops Fernandez, who is part of the show’s “Wall of the World” composed of 50 international artists, also said that she is proud that the trio is representing the Philippines.

“I am so proud right now to represent the Philippines. On behalf of the Filipinos, guess what? I know for a fact that you can be The World’s Best,” Fernandez said.

The American judges gave the boys an average score of 49, which was added to the average score given by the 50 judges of the “Wall of Wonder”. In the end, the boys earned a score of 99 which made them qualified to advance to the next round.
