“Ako yung type ng tao na parang the more na mas mahirap yung situation, mas nacha-challenge ako to do better, to excel. Para kang tea bag, the more na nalalagay ka sa hot water at nabababad ka, mas nagiging stronger ka,” she said in an Instagram video.

She also posted another photo holding her certificate with the caption: “As I inch my way to the “finish line,” You have always been my source of strength and comfort in everything, including my studies. My heart, mind, and soul is Yours, Lord! This would have not been possible if it weren’t for your great love and mercy. This for your glory, God – the giver of all good things.”

Southville International School and Colleges also posted a video interview of Sta. Maria wherein she gave a piece of advice to all students like.

“I feel very happy because all the work has paid off from the last sem. I feel more inspired and motivated to keep on studying,” she said.

“Do everything excellently,” she added, as a tip to other students. “I know that it’s not going to be easy, but I know definitely that it’s going to be worth it. Keep on dreaming, keep on setting goals, and keep on reaching that goal. Keep on aiming higher and higher,” she added.
