Actress KC COncepcion made it clear to her 2.6 million Instagram followers that she understands how hard it is to be in a long-distance relationship.
It can be recalled that Concepcion first introduced her boyfriend, French filmmaker and entrepreneur Pierre-Emmanuel Plassart, through an Instagram post back in August 2018.
Since then, Concepcion has been posting sweet photos of her and her French beau on her social media account.
However, since they are based in different countries, Concepcion and Plassart also need to spend some time apart from each other.
Even though they had a great time when Plassart visited the Philippines over the recent holidays, Concepcion can help but long for her boyfriend whenever they are not together.
And just like any other LDR couple, she also has to endure the longing she feels for Plassart until she sees him again.
“Life has placed us in a long distance relationship and slow internet connection. I commend all Filipinos especially in this situation- from couples, to families, I understand your frustration,” she said in an Instagram post.
She also left a short message to every LDR couple in the world.
“Kapit lang, kaya natin yan,” she said.
This isn’t the first time Concepcion has posted something about her long-distance relationship with Plassart.
Earlier this year, she has posted a photo of her and Plassart, with a caption that reads: “This long distance relationship isn’t the easiest but somehow with you I know I’m safe. Had a lovely time with you as always, mon amour!”
According to other sources, Plassart came from a well-off family who owns supermarkets in France.
Concepcion also confirmed that she and Plassart first met during a gala dinner hosted by former US president Bill Clinton in 2011.
