Former actor Baron Geisler has said in the past that he is in a much better mental and emotional state after going through rehab, and now he is ready to take on a second chance at show business.
Geisler battled with alcoholism in the past and even got involved in several controversies, such as sexual harassment complaints from female celebrities and a fight with his brother-in-law.
However, Geisler said that he reached a turning point in his life and is ready welcome change after going through therapy.
Now, he has an “intense plea” to the Kapamilya network and its talent management Star Magic, as reported by Abante Entertainment.
According to the report, Geisler asked for an apology and is making an appeal to ABS-CBN to give him television projects and help him with his showbiz comeback.
In an interview with ABS-CBN, he said, “I’m praying, sana makabalik sa Star Magic.”
“Siguro sa buong stay ko sa rehab, isa yun sa halos pinagdadasal ko araw-araw. Ipinapangako ko po sa sarili ko to keep working on my program, my structure, and sustain sobriety. I’m praying to sustain my work, my job and my business,” he added.
Outside of showbiz, Geisler owns a barber shop in Cebu called “Gents Barber Shop”.
He added that he is hopeful that he will be given a second chance after a promising talk with the network’s management.
“I feel good. Actually, I just came from ABS-CBN. I visited Star Magic, I reconnected with them and I really had a good talk,” he said.
