Falcis brothers file grave threat case against Kris Aquino

Nicardo “Nicko” Falcis and Atty. Jesus “Jess” Falcis filed two counts of grave threats against television host-turned-internet personality Kris Aquino.

The Falcis brothers filed the said legal charges after an audio recording of a long-distance phone call between Kris and Nicko which occurred on September 27, 2018 surfaced online. In the said phone call, Kris threatened to have Nicko killed if he dared to return to the Philippines.

Aquino downplayed the release of the said audio recording saying that she was only bluffing and made those remarks out of anger.

She also questioned why didn’t Falcis file a grave threat lawsuit against her the said after he received the call.

A few days after, Jess took to Instagram to post a photo of him and Nicko at the Hall of Justice in Quezon City. A second photo was also uploaded that shows a man who seems to be filing documents at the same location.

“Growing up as gay people, we were bullied but we have always stood up against our bullies. This is no exception,” Jess captioned the photo.

He also emphasized on the gravity of grave threats even if Kris said that she did not mean to make those remarks.

“A death threat is a death threat. We have to protect our life and security from the crazy rich and powerful,” he added.

The rift between Kris and the Falcis brothers started when the former filed 44 counts of qualified theft against Nicko.

Nicko worked for Kris as her project and endorsement manager but their relationship turned sour after the latter accused him of using funds from her production company for personal use.
