Meet Jericho Rosales’ heartthrob son

It is safe to say that Jericho Rosales is one of the hottest celebrities in the Philippines that is why it should no longer come as a shock that his son is as equally as handsome as him.

Due to his ageless appeal, some might fid it hard to believe the Jericho now has a teenage son. However, once you get to see the latter, you will see that he can give his father a run for his money.

Santino Rosales, or Saint, was born on Becember 11, 2000 to Jericho and former model Kai Palomares. Even though his parents are no longer together, they decided to stay in good terms. Santino lives with his mother while his father is now happily married to model Kim Jones.

While he has the looks to back him up, Santino said in the past that he has absolutely no plans in joining the entertainment industry and follow his father’s footsteps.

“I’ve seen the way the industry is, and I’ve seen the way it gets to you and it doesn’t really appeal to me. I’d rather stay outside the limelight and also because of competition…People will start comparing me with my dad like what happens with other people, and I don’t want that….I’d rather build myself as my own image, not as someone’s son.” said in an interview with PEP.ph.

Santino is staying true to his words as he is starting to make a name for himself in the world of sports and fashion.

Now 18, Santino is an athlete who is fond f playing football. Last year, he graduated high school from Colegio de San Agustin wherein he served as a varsity player for the school’s football team.

After graduating, he now represents De La Salle University in the collegiate football league. He is also part of the Makati based professional football association, Kaya Futbol Club.

“I always liked football but in 2013, my mom came up to me and asked me if I wanted to join the academy of Kaya FC. This is where I started playing seriously. The academy developed me to become the player that I am today. Around months after joining the academy, they conducted tryouts for the under 15 elite team.

“I got in and that was my first time playing football competitively. From there, it just went uphill. I had two seasons in the under 15 team. The year after that, I tried out for the under 17 and I played for them as well. Last summer, we won our fifth championship. Now I’m training constantly,” Santino shared in an interview with Candy Magazine.

Aside from his interest in sports, Santino is also working as a model under the prestigious Professional Models Association of the Philippines (PMAP).

Santino, who stands at 6’1″ tall, has appeared on several fashion shows, print ads, and magazine covers.
