The Golden Globes 2019, which took place last January 6 in Beverly Hills, California, may be a Hollywood event but that did not stop Filipino talents to shine in the prestigious awards ceremony.

For one, Darren Criss made history by becoming the first Filipino-American Hollywood actor to win a Golden Globe Award for his role in the US television series “American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace”.

Criss bagged the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Limited Series or TV Movie Award for playing the role of serial killer Andrew Cunanan in the said show.

Aside from that, not just one nor two, but eight Hollywood celebrities walked down the red carpet wearing the creations of Filipino fashion designer Monique Lhuillier.

The Golden Globes is known to be one of the biggest and most prestigious events in Hollywood and these celebrities definitely looked regal and exquisite as they wear their chosen Lhuillier gowns.
