Rumor has it that celebrity couple John Lloyd Cruz and Ellen Adarna secretly got married on December 23.
There are no further details about the rumors but reports also claimed that the wedding happened simultaneously with the christening of their firstborn, Elias Modesto.
Even showbiz reporter, comedian, and talent manager Ogie Diaz asked for confirmation if Cruz and Adarna really did tie the knot two days before Christmas.
It can be recalled that Diaz worked with the celebrity couple a few years ago for ABS-CBN’s weekly comedy sitcom “Home Sweetie Home”.
It was also reported that Diaz played cupid and was the reason why Cruz and Adarna got close while working on the set of the said show.
However, Cruz and Adarna’s characters got cut off from the sitcom after they took an indefinite hiatus from their showbiz career. Diaz’s character was also omitted from the show.
However, it seems like Diaz lost contact with Cruz and Adarna after they left the show because his recent Facebook post suggests that he does not have any idea on what’s going on with the celebrity couple’s lives.
He asked his friends and followers on social media to verify the rumors about Cruz and Adarna’s wedding.
“Ikinasal na daw sina Ellen at JLC nung December 23 kasabay ng binyag ng anak nila? True ba?” he wrote with the hashtags #HappyForThem #IfTrue.
As of press time, there are still no confirmation if the rumors are true or not, but netizens immediately sent them best wishes and congratulatory messages on social media.
Adarna was last seen during Christmas season when her holiday family photo got uploaded online. However, many fans were quick to notice that Cruz was not in the said photo.
