Miss Universe Philippines 2018 Catriona Gray has a new member of her fans squad!
The Philippines’ bet in the prestigious competition became a trending topic on social media after her performance during the preliminary competition of the Miss Universe 2018 beauty pageant.
Her swaying hair and “slow motion” twirl became the talk of the town on social media, and even international supermodel Tyra Banks joined the hype.
Banks was wowed by Gray’s performance and took to Twitter what she thought about the latter’s signature “lava walk”.

Gray also shared screenshots of Banks’ tweet with the captions “OMG” and “Dead”.
During the preliminary competition, Gray stunned in a pink one-piece during the swimsuit competition and in an orange Ibong Adarna-inspired gown designed by Mak Tumang during the evening gown.
The Miss Universe 2018 beauty pageant will be held on Monday, December 17, at the IMPACT Center in Bangkok, Thailand. It will be broadcasted live at 8:00 AM in the Philippines and 4:00 AM in the UAE.
The Philippines’ bet is vying to take home the country’s fourth Miss Universe crown.
