Miss Universe Philippines 2018 is all about raising the country’s flag high during the course of the anticipated Miss Universe 2018 beauty pageant.

Gray is currently in Bangkok, Thailand for the preparations and pre-pageant activities that will all lead to the coronation night of the said pageant which will take place on December 17.

But even though the Miss Universe 2018 is still two weeks from now, Filipino pageant fans are already lauding Gray for proudly showcasing Filipino culture through her fashion choices.

The 24-year-old beauty queen has previously said that she will incorporate Filipino elements in her outfits, just like what she did during the Binibining Pilipinas coronation night wherein she wore a “Three Stars and a Sun” ear cuff during the long gown competition.

During the second day of the Miss Universe preparations, Gray wore a white form-fitting dress with a sweetheart neckline, belt, and slit. She accessorized the outfit with a pair of nude heels, a diamond bracelet, and a woven bag with embroidered sampaguita patterns — the national flower of the Philippines.

On another day, Gray wore a white long-sleeve top and a red skirt with T’boli embroidery.

Gray also had a short field trip with her fellow beauty queens to the Siam Snail Eco Farm while wearing a denim jacket from the clothing line, Lahi–from the tagalog meaning, race.

The jacket bears flowers, a jeepney, and the word “kababayan” on the back, as well as tribal linings along the cuffs, collar, and hem.

With a little over 10 days before the pageant, Gray’s fans are excited to what more she has in store, just like her national costume and long gown.

Gray is hoping to take the fourth Miss Universe crown for the Philippines, following the footsteps of Gloria Diaz, Margie Moran, and Pia Wurtzbach.
