Filipinos have this indescribable fascination for TV soap operas that tackle adulterated themes and features mistresses and third parties.
ABS-CBN’s primetime drama series “Halik”, which stars Jericho Rosales, Yen Santos, Sam Milby, and Yam Concepcion, became a hit among Filipino televison viewers as it deals with the complications of married life. It got viewers holding onto the edges of their seats everytime.
But people got so hyped with “Halik” that it even reached the Wikipedia page of the said show.
Netizens who were overly affected by the story of the show edited the names of the characters based on how they would personally define each one of them.
Reddit Philippines user “zyhan” shared a screenshot of the show’s Wikipedia page with the edited characters’ names.

Rosales’ character whose name is Catalino “Lino” Bartolome was changed to “Gwapong agrabyado”; Milby who plays Ace Corpuz was dubbed as “Gandang lalake pero walang balls”; Santos as Jacky Corpuz was changed to “Tangang natuto”; and Concepcion as Jade Bartolome was named “Malanding higad”.
As of press time, the Wikipedia page has been restored to its original content.
Aside from the Wikipedia page, “Halik” has also become the subject of several memes and reactions on social media.
