Actress Valerie Garcia-Birchmore, more popularly known as “Bangs” Garcia, announced that she got into the semi-finals of this year’s Maxim USA Cover Girl Search.

On Tuesday, October 30, the actress made the announcement through an Instagram post. “Good morning, Philippines! I have officially made it into the semi-finals for the Maxim Cover Girl Search @maximmag this year!” she said.

The actress asked for the support of her fans and other Filipinos to help her get into the competition’s finals.

“Evidently, it’s getting really tougher now, so I am kindly asking for your great support to help me get into the Top 12 for the final round next week, November 12th!” she added.
