Comedienne Ai-Ai delas Alas took to Instagram to share that she flew all the way to Los Angeles, California to witness the 46th annual American Music Awards (AMAs).

The AMAs, held on October 9, 2018, at the Microsoft Theater, is one of the biggest Hollywood events wherein they gather and honor the biggest names in music.

Donned in a fierce black and red ensemble with a blonde bob, delas Alas graced the event with her husband Gerald Sibayan.

Delas Alas went on “fangirl” mode and captioned one of the photos, “Excited ako. First time makakakita ako ng mga sikat na singers and artist.”

A post shared by Martina Eileen D.A. SIBAYAN (@msaiaidelasalas) on

Delas Alas first shared a video of the show’s opening number which features pop singer Taylor Swift singing her hit song “I Did Something Bad”.

She also posted a series of photos of the AMA winners and performers including Camila Cabello, Khalid, Post Malone, Mariah Carey, and Shawn Mendes.

The comedienne then ended her series of photos by sharing a sentimental post about the “happy day” she experienced after attending the AMAs.

She also expressed her admiration towards Swift, who won four awards that night, including Artist of the Year, Tour of the Year, Favorite Female Artist – Pop/Rock, and Favorite Album – Pop/Rock.

“Madami akong nakitang bago and natutuwa ako kay Taylor Swift. Siya kasi ang nanalo ng Artist of the Year.

“Sa speech niya, sabi niya “I’ll do better and work harder”. ‘Yan ang totoong passion. Pang-fourth year na ata niya ‘yan, but still gusto niya pang mag-improve at maging mas magaling pa.

“Idol ko na siya sa pagmamahal niya sa work at craft niya, pero syempre, una pa din sa akin si Donya JLo (Jennifer Lopez).

“Congratulations, Taylor Swift,” she wrote.
