The Miss Universe Organization released a 3-minute slideshow on their Twitter account showing some of the beauty queens who will be competing in the Miss Universe 2018 pageant.

The video shows over 70 candidates from all over the world who will vie for the highly coveted crown.

Aside from Miss Universe Philippines 2018 Catriona Gray, the video also included some online-famous candidates and early favorites, such as Miss USA Sarah Rose Summers, Miss Thailand Sophida Kanchanarin, Miss Venezuela Sthefany Gutiérrez, Miss South Africa Tamaryn Green, Miss Ecuador Virginia Limongi, and Angela Ponce who created online buzz after becoming the first transgender Miss Spain.

The list of candidates is still incomplete as around 90 countries are expected to send representatives for the upcoming pageant.

There are still other countries, such as Puerto Rico, Sweden, Finland, and Colombia, which have not yet crowned their respective representatives as their national pageants have not yet taken place.

The 67th Miss Universe pageant will be taking place in Bangkok, Thailand on December 17, 2018. Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters of South Africa will pass on the crown to her successor at the end of the event.

Take a look at some of the official candidates here.
