Kris Aquino responded to a netizen who questioned her rekindled friendship with Sharon Cuneta.

The netizen asked Aquino why she did she not publicly thank the Megastar for holding a block screening of Aquino’s latest movie with Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto titled “I Love You, Hater”.

“Hindi ba kayo okay ulit ni Sharon? Kasi hindi mo man lang siya pinasalamatan sa ginawa niyang block screening ng pelikula mo,” the netizen asked.

“I’m sorry I’m unaware, I thanked her personally through text when I saw the Star Cinema post of her interview,” Aquino replied.

Meanwhile, Cuneta defended Aquino for not being able to attend the block screening because she was out of the country for work. Based on her Instagram posts, Aquino went to Indonesia last week.

Nevertheless, Cuneta still praised Aquino for her performance in her movie: “I wanted to invite you, Kris but I heard you are abroad working, and it’s biglaan pa. But you are so refreshing in this movie and your character is just as fun and colorful as your outfits na I am sure matutuwa lalo the audience when they watch you!” Cuneta said.
