A young Filipino actor made the jaws of his fans drop as he made two shocking revelations about his personal life.
22-year-old actor and model Jon Lucas said in the press conference of his new movie “Dito Lang Ako” that he is now flipping a new chapter in his life as a father, reported ABS-CBN.
The “It’s Showtime” Hashtags member said that he knew his life will change since he is now a father to his 8-month-old son, Brycen, who was born in November last year.
He also said that there came a time when he had to hide the truth about his son, but the young actor said that it is time for everyone to know the real story.
“Panahon na para magpakatotoo. Ayaw ko nang nagtatago,” he said.
Lucas also revealed that he and the mother of his child, who was left unnamed, also got married.
After his revelation, Lucas took to social media to post photos of him and his son.
Lucas said that losing his mother last year was emotionally difficult for him, but being a father turned his life around and he now considers his son his “happy pill” and “inspiration”.
“Nawala iyong nagpapasaya sa akin dati, iyong mommy ko. Pero napalitan lang din pala ng magpapasaya sa akin,” he said.
