Is everything okay between Sharon Cuneta and daughter KC Concepcion?

by | Entertainment

Megastar Sharon Cuneta revealed through an Instagram post that something has changed in her relationship with daughter KC Concepcion.

In her Instagram post on May 15, Cuneta opened up about the state of her relationship with her children, Frankie, Miel, and Miguel.

In the same post, the Megastar opened up about how her relationship with KC, her daughter with Gabby Concepcion, has changed.

It can also be recalled that many reports in the past said that the two of them deal with misunderstandings often.

As stated on her Instagram post, Cuneta is happy with the close relationship she has with Frankie and Miel, but it is not the same case with KC.

“I admittedly didn’t have this kind of relationship na with KC after she turned 13. She had the best of my youth though. And she was the best kid ever!” Cuneta wrote.

“I somehow just lost her somewhere years back, though I love her very much and will be here for her anytime,” she added.

Sharon said that KC’s strong sense of independence had an impact on their relationship.

“She’s a full-grown adult so I don’t expect that I’ll suddenly have such a big impact on her life now! I wanted her to grow up independent, but medyo too independent na siya which isn’t necessarily a bad thing,” Cuneta continued.

Cuneta then said that she misses the old relationship she had with KC.

“I just miss that I know I have four kids and am able to share my life with only three. No bad. All good naman,” she said,

Referring to her other three kids, Frankie, Miel, and Miguel, Cuneta said, “These 3 gremlins naman are my joy and ‘entertainment’ at home!

(My Sophia in photo. When I got out of the banyo and saw her sitting on my bed wearing her glasses, na-Twilight Zone ako! Akala ko ako!) Kakie and Yellie and I earlier tonight, watching “Maze Runner Death Cure.” Mama: “Please watch “Goblin” with me! I promise you’ll love it!Tito Ogie @ogiealcasid loved it and is the one who told me to watch it (and is therefore responsible for my present obsession with -and LOVE for – Gong Yoo!)! And he was right!” Kakie (smirking, giggling): “Heehee…oh-kaaayy…” Yellie: “Okay Mama…I’ll give it a chance.” Kay laking utang na loob ko pa. Hahahaha! I love being with my girls. I admittedly didn’t have this kind of relationship na with KC after she turned 13… She had the best of my youth though. And she was the best kid ever! I never like to leave the house when they are with me. I LOVE that we are stuck together like glue. I laugh when my kids laugh with me. Minsan pati when they laugh AT me! Mga naughty na ‘to teka nga pinaglalaruan yata ako ah! Makapag-aral nga ng steps ng “TWICE TT.” Sasayawan ko sila para maumay araw-araw! Ay teka I will have to ask Miel to learn it then teach me. Nakakahiya naman kung si Teacher Georcelle @gforce_official @teachergeorcelle pa istorbohin ko kahit anak ko yun mula nung 13 sya (She was a part-time Adrenalin dancer in TSCS, my ballerina with beautiful looooong hair!!! And she is even sweeter than she was before!)! Hahaha! Pag natuto ako at pumayag si Mr. M nako. Kailangan lang kasama ko si Miel sumayaw. Baka magulat kayo. Di kayo makakatulog ng mga 5 months kayo ren!Di ko lang alam if sa tuwa or irritation. Nakakatakot din di ko alam kung okay ang effect sa kids sa YFSF namin.Baka matraumatize lalo si Chunsa!
