Retired American boxer Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr. was able to experience warm Filipino hospitality when he arrived in El Nido, Palawan earlier today, May 8.
As seen in a video uploaded by ABS-CBN sports reporter Dyan Castillejo on Twitter, a group of musicians welcomed Mayweather.
The American boxing star was all smiles while he interacted with the Pinoy musicians.

Aside from that, he also played basketball with a few locals in Palawan.

According to ABS-CBN, Mayweather arrived in the Philippines today at 3:00 am via his private jet.
Mayweather previously said in a video, which was uploaded on Instagram, that he will visit the country to “embrace his fans and say thank you to everybody in the Philippines for all their support throughout the years.”
No further details regarding his visit has been announced.
