After her breakdown during her Las Vegas concert, Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo seemed to be in a better emotional state during the Chicago leg of her “This 15 Me” concert.
During her concert in Chicago, Geronimo revealed the reason why she was not able to hold back tears and why she walked out of the stage during her last concert in Las Vegas, reported PEP.
“Yung last time po naging emotional ako dahil talagang nag-panic po ako. Kasi wala po akong tulog, ‘tapos parang nawawala yung boses ko. ‘Diyos ko po! Lord!’ sabi ko,” she explained.
She also said that while she was crying onstage, she remembered her humble beginnings in show business.
“Naalala ko lang po, siyempre, yung journey ko, beginnings namin at mga pinagdaanan. At saka siyempre, lahat po tayo may battles sa buhay, siguro nagpatung-patong na po,” Geronimo said.
The 29-year-old singer, who seemed to be more well-rested now, then cracked a joke about what happened.
“Pero wala pong iyakan ngayon. Bawal. Pangit. Nanu-news tayo, e,” she said in jest.
Geronimo added that she was able to get a few negative comments after what happened in Las Vegas.
“Naba-bash tayo masyado, e. Huwag nang ganun.
“Akala nila nag-iinarte ako. Binigay na nga sa akin ‘to, mag-iinarte pa ako?” she said.
Many speculated that Geronimo will be retiring from show business after her unexpected meltdown onstage, but during her Chicago concert, she assured fans that she will not step out of the limelight.
“Mawawala din ‘to, ‘no? So hanggang meron, go lang, di ba? Ipon tayo, ganyan, trenta na. Hindi, kailangan po talaga tuluy-tuloy lang,” she said.
