ABS-CBN stars Billy Crawford and Coleen Garcia tied the knot last April 20 in a romantic beach wedding in Balesin Island.
The newly-wed worked together as hosts on the noontime show “It’s Showtime”, so fans were expecting that everyone from the show would be present to witness Crawford and Garcia’s exchange of vows.
However, Anne Curtis and Karylle, two main hosts of the show since 2009, were noticeably absent during the ceremony.
According to entertainment website PEP, the exact reason why Karylle was absent during the wedding is still unclear. However, being a long-time endorser of Bench, she was seen during the meet-and-greet event held by the local fashion brand for Hollywood star Cole Sprouse.
Sprouse was introduced as one of the newest international endorsers of Bench, and he met his fans on the same day of the Crawford-Garcia wedding.
For her part, Curtis is currently in England for the London Marathon 2018 which will take place on Sunday, April 22.
The TV host-actress has been preparing for the said event since last year. She will be running the 42-kilometer marathon as part of her tie-up with UNICEF’s fundraising campaign for children with disabilities in the Philippines, reported PEP.
It can be recalled that Crawford and Garcia were also absent during Curtis’ wedding with Erwan Heussaff in New Zealand last year.
Nevertheless, even though Curtis and Karylle were not present, Crawford and Garcia’s other It’s Showtime co-hosts, including Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, Ryan Bang, Ted Corpuz, Jugs Jugueta, Kim Atienza, and Eric Tai were there to witness the event.
