WATCH: World-class wheelchair dance routine in PGT

A dance duo on Pilipinas Got Talent just proved that there are no excuses when it comes to reaching your dreams.

Julius Obrero and Rhea Marquez, a dance duo from Pasig City, earned a spot in the competition’s grand finals after they wowed the judges and the audience with their inspirational dance routine.

Before they performed, host Toni Gonzaga said that the dance duo have already brought pride to the Philippines by bringing home a gold medal for the Freestyle and Combination Latin Category from the recently concluded World Cup for Dancesport which took place in the Netherlands.

Their performance earned praises and a standing ovation from judges Vice Ganda, Angel Locsin and Robin Padilla.

Julius and Rhea will be advancing to the next level of the competition after they were chosen over fellow contestant Miggy Hizon. They also received the second highest number of votes at 32.77%.

Meanwhile, the comedic act of Joven Olvido got the highest number of viewers’ votes at 55.71%.

Julius revealed on their first appearance on the show that he lost the ability to walk due to polio.

During their auditions, Julius and Rhea earned the golden buzzer from judge Angel Locsin.

Julius and Rhea will be joining Olvido, DWC Aeon Flex, Kristel de Catalina, Bardilleranz, Xtreme Dancers, Nocturnal Dance Company and Orville Tonido in the grand finals.
