KZ Tandingan will make a comeback in “Singer 2018” hoping to regain her spot in the competition.
Tandingan’s journey in “Singer 2018” was cut short after she got eliminated on the show’s ninth episode.
The singer stayed in the show for five episodes, earning her a large fan base in China as the competition is the most viewed TV show in China today, gaining more than 200 million viewers per episode.
After her elimination, many netizens are claiming that Tandingan still has a chance to regain her spot in the competition after the wild card round.
According to ABS-CBN entertainment journalist MJ Felipe, the “Breakout” episode will bring back one of the eliminated contestants.
The 26-year-old singer confirmed the news through her Facebook page by posting a series of photos which were taken during rehearsals.
According to the said post, she will be singing Freddie Aguilar’s iconic song “Anak” in Mandarin.
In a previous interview, Tandingan already said that she would like to perform her rendition of the said song.
If she makes it and manage to keep her spot, Tandingan will be joining the live finale of “The Singer” which will happen on April 13, 2018.
