WATCH: Japanese man sings viral hit song Hayaan Mo Sila

A Japanese man is making rounds online for covering Ex Batallion’s viral hit song titled Hayaan Mo Sila.

Fumiya Sankai, a 22-year-old Japanese vlogger based in the Philippines, posted a cover of the popular song on his YouTube channel that has over 79,000 subscribers. He even copied the song’s auto-tuned vocals.

“Hayaan Mo Sila” is currently popular in the Philippines for its attribution in the jejemon or hypebeast culture that is considered notorious in the country.

According to Urban Dictionary, hypebeast “is a slang for someone who is obsessed about the hype (in fashion), and will do whatever it takes to obtain that desired hype.”

Sankai’s video has garnered over 24,000 views and 1,900 likes on YouTube just two days after posting.
