Vice Ganda to shut down MRT if he becomes PH president

Kapamilya host Vice Ganda has vented his disappointment on the recent simultaneous glitches of the Metro Rail Transit (MRT), saying that he would rather shut its operation and turn it into a park if he were to be the Philippine president.

During the live airing of the noontime variety show It’s Showtime on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, the host remarked: “Dito, meron nang Grab, meron nang Uber, may bus, may kotse, lahat… may motor, lahat ‘yan, kaya saksakan ng dami ng trapik, e.

His co-host Anne Curtis then brought up the repeated malfunction incident of the MRT.

Triggered, Vice conveyed that the MRT should just be shut down since it still has not improved, “Tigil-tigil niyo na ang MRT [na] ‘yan.

The comedian added, “Laging ngarag, laging kung anu-anong nangyayari, laging sira.

“Natatakot na yung [mga pasahero]. Ang haba-haba na ng pila!”

He even expressed cementing the train tracks to convert it into a park if he becomes the president.
